Moeen Memorial’s Annual Function – February 5, 2023, Kadod, Bardoli

Moeen Memorial’s Annual Function was held on February 5, 2023, in Kadod, Taluka Bardoli, Surat. The event was presided over by Mr. Saeed Ismail Sheikh, with Mr. Hanif Shaikh, Dr. G.M. Malek, and Mr. Siraj Thakor as the chief guests. Motivational talks were delivered by Mr. Jaber Chokshi and Mr. Sayyed Mohammed Hanif. The function was further graced by the presence of several well-known dignitaries and respected community leaders.

The event featured a presentation of Moeen Memorial’s journey—from its establishment to its current achievements—highlighting its dedication to educational support and community service. Inspiring speeches emphasized the importance of education in shaping a better future. Scholarships were distributed to deserving beneficiaries in the form of cheques.

A number of volunteers played a vital role in ensuring the success of the program. Special recognition was given to Mr. Vasim Kureshi, Mr. Rashid, and Mr. Arif—all high school teachers—who effectively managed and supervised the volunteer efforts. Many other volunteers, though not mentioned by name due to space constraints, also contributed significantly to the event’s success.

The event was gracefully anchored by Ms. Shavana Kureshi, a trustee of MMWT. The function concluded with a delicious lunch served to all attendees.
